Artist's Comments

I've wanted to do this for a while...the idea is based off an image of Sailor Moon I use to have. But unfortunately, that was like, 10 years ago, and I can't find it anymore.

Anyhoo...I quite like how this turned out, if I may say so. And I have been on a princess-drawing rampage lately, and I might try to do a follow-up to this with other Disney gals. Meh, who knows?

EDIT: fixed a few unsightly mistakes. Namely lowered Snow White's eyes and gave Cinderella eyebrows. Thanks to ~CantareinCminor and =Sugar-Kat for their help!

Wow this is a beautiful picture but before I get to that, you really need to go to sleep earlier!! Haha I guess I'm one to speak, my sleep schedule is so off whenever I write...

All of them look so beautiful, Snow White looks like someone I know in real life but can't name at the moment. As much as I hate the little mermaid, Ariel is the most beautiful here, maybe it's the eyes or the smile. I like how Belle and Aurora look contemplative. And I notice that your Jasmine always looks somewhat sneaky...haha
The only weird thing is that Cinderella's eyebrows are covered by her hair, but it appears as though she doesn't have any.

I used to collect Sailor Moon cards so this should be familiar to me, but I don't remember very well. Please do draw other Disney girls! Like Mulan! She needs more attention cuz she's such a badass.

lol, stupid drawings! I DO need to go to bed earlier! And so do you. Writing into all hours of the night...sheesh...

Yes, Cinderella has no eyebrows. I didn't know it would be so obvious XD. But for now, we'll just say she plucks them wayyy too much. And Jasmine is always sneaky because she's constantly thinking about Mozenrath. Naked.

You hate Ariel?! I thought everyone was completely in love with her. Just look at all her fanart here. Or do you mean you don't like the actual movie?

Lol to the Jasmine comment.

Oh I need to post something about the reasons I hate Ariel. I think I wrote something about that in an author's note in a chapter of Outtakes.

I hate both the movie and Ariel herself. I found her completely useless, whiny, and stupid. Almost all Disney heroines are stubborn and rash to a point, but her stubbornness and rashness did not do any good at all (and actually made things suck for many other people) versus those of other princesses who actually accomplished something. Although Jasmine's stubbornness in the first movie was also questionable...did Jasmine do any good at all? Not really. I guess the ensuing TV series redeemed her for me.

Whoa, this is awesome! You drew them all so well! Jasmine's expression= :devilish: LOL.

Their poses all fit them. :D Even Snow White, and Snow White bugs me. It's her voice! :dead: It's like fingernails on a chalkboard! lol. :giggle: And she doesn't really do anything...except run, shriek, and get bad food poisoning. :XD:

ANYWAY I love the picture.

Villains make the story. Without villains, all heroes would be at home sulking.

This is a great picture. It really captures all of the resident Disney princesses at their best.

I love the sneaky look on Jasmine (and your explanation for that matter :giggle:)

I hope you do decide to do a follow up. Great job! =D

Ah, yes. Now that you put it that way...haha. I don't really care about Ariel much either way, though, but I always remember my dad never liked me watching The Little Mermaid because it showed a daughter's complete disregard and disrespect for her father, lol. As far as personality/role models go, Belle is my best bet.

I only recently realize how much I dislike Jasmine's stubborness/independence/whatever-they-call-it in the first movie. Probably because I'm analyzing her in regards to your stories, too (which, by the way, I haven't forgotten about HoF, it just takes me a while to get my thoughts together ^^;). In the film, she's really just a selfish brat. I think the series probably redemmed her a bit for me as well. But mostly it's just because she's so darn fun to draw.

lol, food poisoning...

Yeah, Snow White was always me least favorite, and sadly, it's probably just because she's so...old, and the voices and designs aren't what I'm used to. But, on the other hand, it's always fun to draw the older ones and play with their designs.

Still, though, so glad you like the picture!

I totally remember that Sailor Moon pic! And you did an excellent job recreating it with the Disney Princesses!
:iconmbryn:
I think Belle is my favorite here.
