Okay! Who's excited for ONE PIECE!? >.> Well, I am, at least.

I wasn't going to do a Disneyfied version of One Piece, because there are already several versions (check out 's amazing gallery for that), but hey, what can I say? The series is epic and I'm so pumped about the current events in the manga. Oda is so magically awesome, and I'm lovin' how he's bringing back old characters and forming new alliances. Though I do miss the rest of the crew...

Which brings me to...introduction time! I actually liked doing this, because Oda.s art is impossible to better or even imitate (for me, at least), so drawing them in a different style took the pressure off.

Nami – Ah, Nami. Nami is my favorite female of the series. Don’t ask me why. She’s just awesome.
Luffy – O captain, our captain! I made Luffy all happy and wide-eyed because that’s how he usually is, but he can certainly put on his serious hat when he needs to.
Zoro – hehehe. I actually imagine Zoro would be a big, huge, buff guy in a Disney movie, but I drew him a little leaner and prettier than I meant to, but that’s just because he’s too sexy and I couldn’t help it.
Chopper - I used Bambi as a reference for Chopper, but it didn’t really work. Still, I think he turned out pretty cute here.
Robin – Robin has the best nose ever. I love it. I actually didn’t like Robin for a while, even after she joined the crew. Probably because she’s so very graceful and composed…the complete opposite of me XD
Sanji – Sanji is probably one of the most extreme characters in OP, just based on how completely different he is when he’s around pretty ladies versus dealing with anyone else. And also, I really, really want to try his cooking.
Franky – Franky is AWESOME. And not only because he spends most his time (pretty much) naked. I’d like to see Disney handle that.
Usopp – Usopp is my favorite voice in the anime. He’s so versatile. And at first I was thinking his trademark nose wouldn't work for Disney, but then I remembered a little film called Pinocchio...

And I feel bad about not including Brook, but since he’s a skeleton and skeletons don’t really vary in design too much, I figured it was okay. Also, he wouldn’t fit on the paper.

Gah, there are so many other characters I would like to do - Vivi, Ace, Crocodile, Kidd, Law, Mr. 2, Buggy, Lucci, Kaku, and about a hundred others – but for now, the main crew is good.
